Privacy Policy

1. Overview

WakeHook is built with a strict privacy-by-design philosophy. We do not collect, monetize, sell, or share personal data of any kind. You can use WakeHook completely anonymously without creating an account.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

• No Personal Identifiers: We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, or physical location.
• No Financial or Trading Data: We never have access to your broker accounts, exchange API keys, portfolio balances, or trading positions.
• No Telemetry or Tracking: The app contains zero analytics SDKs, third-party trackers, or advertising frameworks.

3. How Webhook Alerts are Processed

When a webhook alert is triggered from TradingView, Uptime Kuma, or your custom scripts:

• The incoming payload is received directly by your phone and decoded strictly in-memory.
• If you use the Cloud Push Relay, messages pass through encrypted WebSocket/HTTPS transport via the open-source pub/sub relay (ntfy.sh) on your private, randomly generated topic name.
• Alert history is saved exclusively to your physical device storage and can be wiped instantly by tapping "Clear History" inside the app.

4. Device Permissions

WakeHook requests only permissions strictly necessary to wake you up:

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Required to display the high-priority alarm notification and ongoing listener service.
• USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT & WAKE_LOCK: Required to turn on your display and show the alarm screen over the lock screen.
• VIBRATE: Required to drive the physical vibration motor during an active alarm.
• INTERNET: Required to connect to the webhook stream and receive alert triggers.
